Rest Stops

It's a long way to float in one sitting, over 8 miles as the river flows, so rest stops along the way are welcome.

There are four official stops managed by the Parks & Recreation Department of Boise along the route between Barber Park and Ann Morrison Park.  As managed public parks they include typical facilities including toilets and trash collection.

Look out for the signs on the river about 100 yards before each stop so that you can get to the side and get out easily.  The signs make clear what facilities each stop has available.

In order starting from the south the stops are:

River Quarry - on the left side of the river just before the Marden or "Baybrook Court" Bridge this has toilets and trash collection.

Marden Bridge - immediately on the right after River Quarry is the popular Baybrook Court Bridge site

The last rest stop before the take out is Julia Davis park which is also on the left side of the river.  The restrooms here are across the road near the band shell but are only open during the summer.
